No words needed here, I believe my face says it all… This weeks weigh in showed a gain of 1&half lbs!! I was a wee bit shocked at that.. Ok, I was off plan on my birthday weekend but that was really only a couple of meals..
Oh wait a mo!! There was also last weekend where I was a tad off plan too… A couple of extra boozy nights, sumptuous non sw meals and crisps and goodies! (bloody good weekend too if I say so myself). Hmm maybe I should be relieved that it’s only 1&half lb?
I have to admit that it’s very easy to become complacent and slip into bad habits when you’re a target member. That’s why you need to continue going to weigh in, even if it’s only once or twice a month…
Rather than dive head first into a major sulk, which I have been known to do on occasions (since my ops though I’ve had to stop with the stamping of my feet lol) I decided to draw a line, step over it and get over it!
Having planned a family trip to the cinema to see “Home” (lovely film by the way) Saturday afternoon I decided that I would throw a syn free curry in the slow cooker ready to come “home” too….
Word of warning! DO NOT sit by me in the cinema if you are going to rattle the box and shovel popcorn in your mouth as if you hadn’t eaten for a month! I swear to god, the bloke sat next to me is lucky that he left the cinema with his teeth still intact!!
As if that wasn’t bad enough, he proceeded to suckle & slurp on his fingers for over 5 minutes!! No word of a lie it was over 5 minutes. I was just about to grab his hands, give his fingers a good suck and say “all clean”
Do you think he’d have minded?
