CHEEKY CHILLI RECIPE

Cheeky Chilli with Cous Cous

Syn free – serves LOADS 

500g 5% fat minced beef
Garlic 
1 red chilli – finely diced
1 onion – chopped
1 green pepper – chopped
Mushrooms – sliced (I cheated and used frozen)
Passata (napolina of course)
Chipotle pepper Tabasco
Chilli powder 
Beef stock pot

Spray a large pan with frylite (I used chilli) and heat. Add garlic, onion & chilli. Fry till browned (add water to keep from sticking if necessary). Add minced beef & green pepper and continue to fry till browned all over. Add Tabasco, chilli powder, stock and Passata. Mix well, bring to the boil then reduce heat and simmer for 20 mins…

Pour enough cous cous to suit appetite in a large bowl and season well. Cover with stock (boiling water & a chicken stock cube). Leave to stand for 6-8 mins (stir and add more stock if needed) 

Serve in bowls, tuck in and enjoy
