This is a quick sneaky spag Bol full of hidden veg & full of flavour / the ideal recipe up keep all the family happy…
- 500g 5% fat minced beef
- Passata (napolina for me)
- Sliced mushrooms (frozen)
- Garden peas (frozen)
- Beef stockpot
- Chilli flakes
- Mixed herbs
- A little thyme
Chop celery & onion then blend together to make a paste – if you are not catering for fussy children (who think they are allergic to veg) then keep whole!
In a pan sprayed with fry lite (any flavour) fry the paste with garlic for 5 mins. Add the minced beef & Worcestershire sauce and fry till mince browned. Add Passata, stock and mixed herbs.
At this stage, place a portion in a small pan for said fussy child & simmer for 10-15 mins…

Add frozen veg & chilli flakes to main portion and simmer for 10-15 mins…
Meanwhile bring large pan of salted water to the boil then add dried spaghetti. Boil for 10 mins till cooked & serve..
